The plan
New World Symphony remembers Michael Tilson Thomas in a chamber program with cellist and alumnus Alan Rafferty. The Sunday afternoon format makes this a quieter alternative to an outdoor holiday concert, with attention on the interaction between a smaller group of musicians. Choose it when your group wants time to listen closely and reflect rather than a high-energy seasonal party. Leave space afterward instead of rushing immediately into another timed reservation.
Before you go
The announced performance is December 20 at 2pm at New World Center. Ticket prices depend on the seats available through the official seller. Check the concert listing again before leaving, particularly if arranging admission for several people or meeting companions at the hall.
Plan your visit
Use the organizer’s current listing for ticket availability and any last-minute changes. Save the exact date, address and admission terms before leaving; a listing on our calendar does not reserve a ticket. Keep some space around the event for travel, and contact the venue directly if you need an accessible route or a particular seating arrangement.
Before you go
Choose the indoor concert ticket deliberately; nearby park activities and any separately announced WALLCAST do not automatically include a seat in the hall.
