No Vacancy turns twelve Miami Beach hotels into destinations for site-specific art.
The plan
No Vacancy turns twelve Miami Beach hotels into destinations for site-specific art. The seventh edition features twelve artists, with works spanning textiles, video, sculpture and other approaches to the city’s landscapes and histories. It is a good way to make a deliberately smaller art outing: choose a few participating hotels that sit along one route instead of trying to cross the whole island in a single afternoon. The works share one program but are not all in one building.
Before you go
The display period is November 12–December 19. Participating locations include The Betsy, Avalon, Casa Faena, Eden Roc and Sherry Frontenac, among others. Hotel access hours can differ; consult the program and the hotel before setting out, especially for work viewed outdoors or after dark.
Plan your visit
Use the organizer’s current listing for ticket availability and any last-minute changes. Save the exact date, address and admission terms before leaving; a listing on our calendar does not reserve a ticket. Keep some space around the event for travel, and contact the venue directly if you need an accessible route or a particular seating arrangement.
Before you go
Do not assume that seeing an installation includes hotel guest facilities, parking or access to every floor.
