A compact creek-side loop, outdoor fitness and a place to sit by the water.
The plan
Brittany Bay Park suits the kind of outing that does not need a big production. Walk beside Indian Creek, use a little of the outdoor fitness equipment or bring a book and take a bench. The park’s living-shoreline improvements added mangrove habitat, giving this small waterfront space another layer beyond the exercise route. It is an approachable North Beach option when you want movement and scenery without a tour, ticket or a long walk on hot sand.
Walking and fitness
The city lists a paved loop where four laps make a mile. Fitness equipment includes ten Kompan pieces and an Urban Sports station, intended for ages twelve and older. Choose activities appropriate to your ability and keep the shared route clear for other park users.
On-site details
Open daily sunrise–sunset. There are accessible areas, seating and a water fountain, with limited parking including accessible spaces at the north end. This is a creek-side park, not an ocean beach; plan a walk rather than assuming swimming access.
Before you go
An early visit is useful for an outdoor workout; bring your own water so you can choose how long to stay.
