The Bass opens its Studio for self-guided art-making, design challenges and books on weekend afternoons.
The plan
The Bass opens its Studio for self-guided art-making, design challenges and books on weekend afternoons. It is a useful way to turn a museum visit into something more active, giving children and adults a chance to make and think rather than only look. Drop in as part of the museum day and let the interests of your group set the pace; this is not advertised as a fixed-length taught class.
Before you go
Open Studio is 12:30–4:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Activities are included in museum admission; both admission and Studio are free for Miami Beach residents. Bring proof for the resident offer and check any holiday or exhibition-related opening changes before visiting.
Plan your visit
Use the organizer’s current listing for ticket availability and any last-minute changes. Save the exact date, address and admission terms before leaving; a listing on our calendar does not reserve a ticket. Keep some space around the event for travel, and contact the venue directly if you need an accessible route or a particular seating arrangement.
Before you go
Budget museum admission for non-residents rather than reading “included” as free general entry for everyone.
